It's not too complicated to explain. The "5-Step" part of our lawn care program refers to the 5 applications of weed control and fertilizer that we apply to your lawn. And don't forget that this is all customized to your specific lawn. There will be special applications in the spring and fall because your lawn needs different nutrients at different times of the growing season.
Turf Care
We have already established that not all lawns are equal. A residential lawn is going to take a different form of care than a commercial lawn. Plus, when we evaluate your lawn, we're looking for other health issues. If something needs fixing in that lawn, we're going to find it, and then we're going to do what it takes to fix it. Need to add in information on Fungicides, Insecticides and Grub Control and Seeding (slit, overseeding etc)
There are times when a fungus or insect may invade your lawn and cause damage. We have the knowledge and capability to stop the invader and fix any damage with seeding.
Our preventative grub control application is a good preemptive strike against a common insect in our area. Eliminating the threat before they cause damage. If you are a gambler and want to wait and see if you get grubs, we have a curative grub application and some seed to put down on damaged areas.
Core Aeration
We knew some old-timers who used to plunge a pitchfork into their lawn every few feet. That's what core aeration is, basically. We've upgraded the equipment a little (McGinty Bros. is pretty proud of its innovative technology), and made core aeration part of our lawn care plan.
